David Williams-Ellis studied drawing in Florence with Signorina Semi and was apprentice with Florentine woodcarvers. In 1978 he was awarded the Elizabeth T. Greenshield Foundation Award that enabled him to work and study with marble craftsmen at Carrara. His sculptures are in public and private collections worldwide. David lives and works in Wales and Cumbria.
This limited edition bronze sculpture of Sir Kyffin Williams has been made by the sculptor, David Williams-Ellis. We aim to raise sufficient income from the sale of an edition of 30 of this 12" maquette to enable David to make a larger life sculpture of Kyffin to be sited in the grounds of Oriel Ynys Môn on Anglesey.
We are very exited by the interest shown in this project from both buyers and galleries and hope that you are able to support us.
The price of the bronze is £4500 from which £3000 will go directly towards the financing of this important sculpture in honour of Kyffin.
